ABOUT ME

Always having a keen interest in video and filmmaking on the whole; I started dabbling with a vintage 8mm film camera and learned to shoot and hand-develop shot footage, while at the 3rd Ward Art School in Brooklyn.

When the opportunity presented itself to learn studio production and broadcast technology at QPTV, I jumped.

That of course lead to serious studies in editing and me eventually becoming a Certified Producer at Queens Public Access Television.

I’ve worked on interview format shoots and served as a guest technical director on the show, “GameShow BlockParty” hosted by the team of Art Kurtz and Phil Manners.

The bulk of my experience before I turned  professional was working Kelly Somersall’s series, “New York Talent Un-Covered”, mostly as Camera-Operator or Technical Director. This was a great opportunity to work with very talented artists in front of the camera and along side technicians-who were, “Par Excellence” behind the camera; to which I am grateful to Kelly.

It was however, during my editing studies when I produced the short video “K.G. Birds”, about the unusual flight patterns of the birds of Kew Gardens that I realized I had talent, in-depth knowledge and skills that would produce high-quality content with polished results. I also felt I should offer this ability as a service to the public.
